Well done Mike you've been very busy.
An eclectic mix of European stock in a very English setting.
I love some of the little dioramas within the whole layout.
Keep the pictures coming - love em Very Happy

sunny
Long time no see but well worth the wait. Cracking photos showing some amazing realistic detail.
Exhibition quality and outdoors too!

What is the grass (mat) stuff? It looks very fine and to scale.

Smile thanks brian, it keeps me amused..eveything except, ian .s delightfull station building, and the busshelter, and the church gates(by bob in cannada) are either scracth built ,or modifiyed kits by me.mostly pendelbury model buildings..the mill is completly scratch built..hi carl. the grass,is from scotland, its verdi grass, for decking/aparments, not suitable for lawns, acording to the manufacture, but the free sample they sent, (1ftsq)was great, short lenght grass..so i ordered a bit..

fast, its, morel like a slow waltzes..1-2-3 back 2-3 side 2-3..but seruisely. i just enjoy it, and itsa hard not to do stuff ,when you enjoy it..subway has progressed ,happy with how its going, 1st platfrom entransce is nearly completed, just the other skin/wall to paint, and install, second platform entransce is slowly comming together.. well today was S day subway day,got the last skin/wall painted, and while it was drying, i got the 1st subway installed ,no dramas ,it was a nice fit.. the brass surport bars infact, lock it(sepert subway wall, and subway) together ..easy maintansce in future, simplely pull thebars two bits sepert, and the subay it self, comes apart..started adding figures , no base, it spoils the look..

If you squint a bit it looks a tad like an old Karrier Bantam, nice. They had a 3 cylinder engine if I recall and made a great sound.

They do.

Try 'Bardeau en rouleau', often available in red and grey from most brico places.
I bought some from Leroy Merlin a few years ago.

You can buy them as tiles too often under the name of 'Easy Shingles'.

Quite inspired by the r/c truck, might have a go myself.

Where did you buy the donor Playmobil chassis?
