Very interesting indeed Clive.

I've just spent an hour indulging in views of Decauvilles on the Calvados Tramways on the Normandy coast.

Some splendid pictures. A great modellers resource. Just a pity that few people seem interested in it specially in the UK.
Although there was one chap asking for info on GSM.

It seems like people are more interesting these days in toys or obscure, over modelled British 'one-offs'rather than being involved in real prototypes with a multitude of intriguing stock.
That comment being weighted at manufacturers who have long overlooked the vast potential of French Narrow gauge.

I wonder how many 'Decauvilles' were actually produced.....?
