Hi

I'm not sure if there's anyone still out there?  It's been very quiet lately!

However Seasons Greetings to all garden railwayers wherever you may be!

And wishing all the best for 2014

Yes, Merry Christmas one and all. The railway is pulled up for house painting and a full rebuild next year, so no piccy I'm afraid.

Is it Christmas already......? What happened to 2013 then?

I'm afraid I'm still largely on a hiatus with most things due to work which looks set to continue up to the first half next year.

If anyone is building trains and other railway items then post away. I had a couple of unfinished projects that I will post if I get time over the holiday.

Bonne Fête. santa

Going indoors is very tempting this time of year, well any time of year I think.
I must be getting a grumpy old man as its either too wet MERRY CHRISTMAS 641182 , too cold MERRY CHRISTMAS 212193  or too hot. MERRY CHRISTMAS 416766

MERRY CHRISTMAS 317793  Happy New Year all.

The aches and pains spoil things outside for me so a waist  high indoor railway is the only option for me I'm very fortunate to have a workshop large enough to be practical and the planning keeps the mind active!!

I agree. aches and pains in this cold and wet weather make it far too uncomfortable to play outdoors, and Yes I have, I dread to say, an N scale, Western USA diesel themed, indoor layout for winter use as a complete contrast to the 45mm gauge European steam themed outdoor summer activities!

Well the indoor line will remain large scale as the eye's won't allow any down scaling is out of the question.  another factor it's my third move in central Brittany and i have little enthusiasm for building another outside line

Hi Paul, I don't think the Fete Vapeur in the Somme will be for another couple of years? I'm sure Carl can advise he's a member there!

However why not join us in Blois in July, it's only a couple of hours further for you, no problem from Holland, and bring the girls too!
