As a lifelong spurs supporter (yes i know...dont remind me..) I have always detested the colour red (Arsenal and all that) lol! but i must admit i find this red that carl has chosen for this forum a real turn-on.It stands out and doesnt let you forget where you are!! if you know what i mean!!

Ah, Mikey, no wonder you emigrated! It is said that admitting you have a problem is the first and most important step on the road to recovery... let me be the first to congratulate you on that!

Whilst I'm not a huge fan of the chosen colour either, at least it's not red/white vertical stripes!

Cheers

Chaps...I will let the colour run for a while...like my missus washing my best shirts. Sad
Then I'll change it a few times and try some background photos as well.

After a while we can have democratic vote on people's prefs.

Red was chosen as it seems to represent Les voies secondaires et Chemin de Fer Departementaux - Secondary French lines. And the red and grey (gris/grenat) of the early autorail/locotracteur livery in Corsica.
It was softened a little to be easier on the eye.

SWMBO painted our hall this colour a few years back.
No one said anything.
They dare'nt.
Until my drinking mate Keith popped in after the pub and said
"Ooh - its like walking into a womb !"
Suffice it to say the hall is now a boring shade of off white.....
....and Keith has been forgiven.
I like the red.
It suits this forum better than our hall.
