Made this little draisine today for the tramway management to travel around in, its powered by a small motor with 2 AA batteries. the only problem is that it speeds around the track a bit too fast. dont know whether its best to cut the power to one battery,or add a light to take off some of the power, or add a trailer with some weight in it

That looks neat Mikey.
Every railway in France had draisines.....I need to build one.

Other ideas to control speed,
Put a diode(s) between the battery and motor which will reduce the voltage by .7volts

Use nicads which are 1.2v each and not 1.5v

Or best make a cheap little speed controller. I posted one somewhere.... Idea
