At the CGT weekend I bought a couple of wagons that Carl had made and no longer wanted. I am converting these into two wagons bestiaux ( which the magnificent book I bought from Geoff 'Tramways des Deux Sevres') describes as carrying, '5 or 6 cows or 20 pigs/sheep/goats.
A bit of old ply and a roof made from an old plastic water barrel;

Don't thank me.

It's my pleasure to see people modelling, creating and doing things for their garden railway.

That wagon closely resembles some (correct 'K' series) I saw a few years back languishing in a siding at Tournon on the Vivarais.

Excellent. sunny

I'm also converting two sets of bogies I bought off Carl into a crane wagon - pics to follow over on the CFHC
