| Nice work Brian. I will take inspiration and do some civil engineering myself soon. | |

| Great work on the raised tracks and the bridge. Cleverly low-tech but functional design.
The quarry looks promising indeed!

| Having seen your Rosenbach signal Box Brian, I saw one reduced at a German distributer so got one. Did you do any painting of the interior fittings on yours or put any additional bits inside?
One point of interest (anyone) what would have been the lighting in a signal box, just a low light level, or red, to allow them to see out at night or bright so they just worked by there indicators??????

| Hi Peter
I have painted some of the internal fittings and floor, also fixed a mini version of my track plan to the control panel, added a 12volt yellow light. As for the rest it's as I bought it - secondhand from ebay.fr

| The forum appears to be still alive and kicking, is it worth continuing to post updates here Carl? | |

| Finally managed to get out and tidy up after my recent illness. The hut has made operating the trains a pleasure. Open the doors, flick two switches and run out the stock. The bridge I made to get to the hut warped over winter and has had to be replaced - above testing in progress | |

| It's amazing how all the shrubs and bushes have grown and the railway now seems embedded in the landscape. I'm still, despite all my efforts, under attack by moles. As evidenced by the small hill between track and church. | |

| I'm amazed how the brass track has weathered to a prototypical colour.
Nice pics. | |

| Thanks for the comments guys! Managed to get about half the rolling stock out this afternoon - not everything is prototypical Carl... A few bits left in the shed... Had a good run for the others... I also tidied up the beach in the "Theme Park" the old concrete one had broken up... | |

| Its all looking very good and maturing well. Prototypical, prototypical, its a garden railway run what you want. I dont count rivets or Epoche's as they now call them. | |

| I think I've managed to breed a race of supersized, super intelligent moles! The railway is now beset with Mole Hills and they are now avoiding both sets of explosive traps that I've set for them... | |
