Voie = track, étroit(e) = narrow

In English we would say 'narrow gauge'.

Voie Etroite is a specialist magazine for all things narrow gauge around the world. It is published by APPEVA and is a mine of information, regular news and good pictures.

Is that the same or similar to Voie Libre? (Only it is not free, I thought it expensive at €7.90) Geoff dropped me of some on his way through very interesting, and it has an English translation on its web site.

It's not the same as Voie libre.

Voie etroite is mostly about real narrow gauge trains, tourist lines, public service and industrial networks. I have seen a rare model article though.
There are English web pages but not of magazine content.

It is a bit pricey but very authoritive and factual.
Old issues are worth looking out for at sales and fairs and you may find some prototype gems inside.
