You may (or may not), remember some time ago that we discussed these double decker coaches or Imperiales; I want to make one for demiel but I wondered if you thought there was anything to be wary of? Essentially its like a conventional tram, so should i put more weight in the bottom to lower the centre of gravity or not? the wheelbase has to be a bit bigger than norm to carry the extra weight so how far can i go with R1's on my line?
they're a bit different arent they

Mikey - I think these would be stable with a metal (or lead weighted) chassis and a plastic card or balsa body - unless you have very strong winds to contend with pale .

On curves, even as four wheelers, they'd need something like LGB swivelling wheel sets to do R1s - or you could make them bogey trams?

The only thing to be aware of as far as I can think are the heights of your tunnels and bridges! Wink Those would indeed make some different models for sure!
