The motors aren't suitable for running on "zero" setting of Massoth/LGB DCC current and get very hot indeed.
Alec has a pair of that model which ran on my line for around half an hour Obviously they are fine on analogue power.
Nice models too Paul Does that apply to all Piko loco's ? I've been tempted by one or two on German Ebay but would initially want to run them under 18volt MTS on "0" Analog setting! | |

| I can't be sure Brian, I haven't seen the motor inside any other Piko G Scale loco. Do they have specifications or exploded diagrams on their website showing details ? The guy that runs Grootspoor.com (Michael) will probably know, he seems to stock a lot of Piko. | |
