I managed to salvage a fair bit of metal from an old style suspended ceiling that was being removed on one of my jobs today. It consists of thin 't' shaped strips that are easily cut with tinsnips. I can feel a bridge coming on .I'm going to bolt it together with 4mm nuts and bolts and see what happens. I'll hava a play tomorrow and see what happens Pictures will follow.

Don't know yet The metal just seemed too good to throw away.I even went back and got it out of the bin. My line is virtually set up for a double loop now (should be completed in the Spring) with the added viaduct type thing that leads to a raised tramstop/street type area.Once it's built I should be able to slot it into any part of the raised line.If it looks ok that is....
