Van sat waiting for the ferrry at Newhaven docks,with a load of site fencing.

Have we a address? for Sunday please,do not want to be driving round Chatellerault for half a day or have I missed something somewhere.

Je désolé mais je ne peux venir le dimanche car j'ai encore du mal suivant la chiururgie. J'ai les douleurs, je ne suis pas capable de conduire pour 3 heures, aussi je suis fatigué et aujourd'hui j'ai présque tombé en sommeil dans la voiture.

Donc....amusez vous bien et prennez beaucoup des photos !

Going to Perpignan (night train) to collect the Children, coming back tomorrow.

And sunday morning first local train to Paris and then TGV to Chatellerault.

It's going to be a long weekend within train.

Yep...sorry chaps but things ain't quite right down below.

Won't go into the gory details. It looks ok but certainly doesn't feel ok.
I have an appointment with the doc next Friday.

Hopefully it's all just part of the healing process but I can't risk it Sunday.

Was a good day, lot's to see, talked too much and nearly forgot to take some pictures.

Fantastic pictures, thanks for sharing them!

Excellent and interesting models, together with fantastic photography. A master class on how to photograph interesting parts of a show congratulations.

Not a lot to add to Laurents fine pictures except to say that the models were superb, the hospitality first class and the weather sunny.
This pic is of an N gauge 'parc d'attractions' within the Gscale network, fully automated with lots of flashing lights;



Next Laurents' works train which happily trundled round the layout nearly all day!

A view of the mine where precisely positioned metal runners caused the wagons to tip their load down into a waiting wagon;



An outrageous radio controlled hot air balloon which went up into the roof space and returned!;



Outdoors there was a 5/7 1.4 inch dual gauge line giving rides to the kids;



And finally the 'party' atmosphere that was going on through the lunchbreak!;



Got home after a 490k round trip happy to have made some new friends!

I see that many have beaten me to it with pictures and "thank you's" but our server has only just come back online this morning.

Anyway first off a huge vote of thanks to our hosts Daniel and Genieve and the other ladies who so splendidly catered for us yesterday.

My thanks also to MIke for making the 6 hour round trip to ferry us North to Chatellerault.

I can't improve on Laurent's detail pics as I only had the point and shoot with me but I have a few general shots that may be of interest
