Just recieved the latest edition and it has a couple of things of potential interest....

A predominantly LGB based - G Scale Swiss exhibition layout. "Klein Arosa"

A feature on the history of the Paris Bastille terminus

I also see a full page ad from Bachmann/Scenecraft for a range of G Scale figures. Does anyone know anything about these? I wonder if they're 1:22.5 or 1:32 which seems to usually be Bachmanns idea of G Scale? They're very UK with Brit Police etc but some are sufficiently generic for Continental use!

I don't own any, Brian, but from what i've seen of the Bachmann/Scenecraft figures at exhibitions etc, they tend more to 1:22.5 than 1:32. They're not bad quality, and of course they're more of a British theme. The only thing that spooks me about them is the eyes always look like staring back at me!
Shocked

It's nothing Clive couldn't fix with his tools and milliput.

A while ago i did an experiment with attaching a Preiser head to a LGB figure body, for precisely the same reason (head to big for body) - it worked reasonably well...
