I've got three Stainz that ultimately will need to be chipped (since I'm using MTS).

This will be starting from scratch and my local person who will chip locos is a fan of the Uhlenrok decoders with Susi interfaces and Dietz sound.

I've already got the Massoth European Small steam engine sound card installed in another loco and would like some variety of sounds in other locos so looking for alternatives. (I'm told that there is new software on its way that may enable sounds to be mixed/match, so I can probably then get different bells and whistles on them anyway).

Can people recommend sounds that are appropraite for the 0-4-0 Stainz but which are not the Massoth small European steam engine ?

Hi Chris. I have a Stainz with a Zimo decoder and a Dietz sound card linked via a Suzi interface.
I didn't install myself, Peyker Modellbahn in Austria offer various Stainz models with fitted sound including a Massoth version too.
You can buy them form his Ebay shop.
My Stainz can be seen and heard here............

Excellent Austrian narrow gauge in North Wales.
