Not really railway related, but i have today taken our house off the market. there are no buyers around at the moment. Anyway we will be here for the foreseeable future. we have a massive 3000 sq mts flat 'field' and also a seperate shower/toilet room. although we are a long way down (Dordogne) ,if anybody has a caravan or camping car or tent (and they are into railways)you are more than welcome to spend your holidays here. Its not a business but we charge our friends 10 euros a night )to cover water/electricity.so if you want/need a cheap holiday next year, get in touch! Oh, and you get use of the pool as well!

Similarly we have 4 acres just outside of Rye (which is less than an hour from Dover or the Tunnel). No facilities, but a nice flattish paddock if anyone's coming down from up north and wants to break their journey on the way to the mainland. No railway yet - but I'm working on it! Free - but as I say no facilities (except water).

As mentioned on another thread!

Any Garden Rail enthusiasts equally welcome here!

A little bit north and en route to Mikeyh

Between the A10 and N10 roads

A couple of hectares - not so flat - couple of old farmhouse buildings and lots of animals.

Do drop in on your way through!

PM for details !

Cheers Brian

If you want an overnight stop, or a few days, on your trip down to Mikey I have space for a caravan or motor home. I am down on the space stakes as I only have ½ hector but as the driveway is bigger than my garden was in Cornwall ok for a caravan etc.

I am just north (10k) of Redon South Brittany off the D177
