Visit to Pantin Empty
PostSubject: Visit to Pantin   Visit to Pantin EmptySat Jun 13, 2009 9:46 pm

A brief sunny Saturday afternoon visit to my friend Denis at Pantin on the edge of urban Paris.

He lives in a very built up urban area but has a small but charming garden and of course a an oval of track and some trains.

I took the 'old faithfuls' along for the 30 minute trip from Chelles.

A neat little layout there. Was he one of the guys at WEMFAL last year? There was a layout or two with a whole fleet of Lady Annes, but I can't for the life of me recall seeing the Katie, I do like that loco, I must admit!

No Denis wasn't at WEMFAL.....That was another friend. silent

The man you were thinking of then was Jean-Michel Roussillon who has a small scenic dogbone layout 'Ile de RĂ©'.

He has 3 modified Lady Annes I believe, but I'm sure he sees 6. drunken
