The reason there has not been to much work on the track recently is that our pond was getting overpopulated with fish, so something had to be done. We have Gold fish, Koi and some carp which were breeding rather to well. I contacted a local fishery who said they would come and get them, but actually catching them proved extremely difficult. So we decided to drain the pond as it required cleaning anyway.

We removed all the fish and sent 60 to there new home 2 at 16” long the rest one or two years old.

Then we put back the remaining 240 goldfish and the Koi.

we had the same problem in UK with a pond a quarter of your size. I had a friend in UK who was really p****d off withthe amount of breeding his fish were doing. His answer was to throw a packet of his wifes birth control pills into the pond. It seemed to work as well!!
