A freind sent me some photos recently of Rovos Rail's "Pride of Africa" service. Looks like my kind of travel. Some spectacular scenery as well. BTW, it's Cape Gauge (3 ft-6 in / 1067mm).

That's an amazing train and some of the journeys offered.

But I think I could just afford a cheap day return to Soweto!
