Carl, you did say you paid about 17€ a bag for ballast didn’t you. That’s ok then I wasn’t diddled.

The only track plan I have is a free hand one of the original idea, as you can see I am only part way through the master plan, with a few modifications.

That would be great Brian I will do a new one by hand, with recent modifications and e mail it to you if that's ok. What additional info would you require?

At the moment there are about 110 meters of track down with about another 30 meters to lay.

The final link rail completed today. I need to check the gradient in a few places. The Schoema diesel with 3 small wagons makes it ok. The Zillertal u class is quite good but the Harzquer 2 6 2 struggles lots of wheel slip and assistance needed so probably more weight required.

That's great progress Peter. I'll bet it's a nice feeling to see trains running after all the effort that's gone into the building of it.

Yes! A sort of good feeling on getting things running, but I am waiting some more points from Jeremy so that I can do alternate two way running from the station. Getting to this point only brings to light just how much there is still to do, but ha ho that’s what it’s all about. Chemin de fer Sud de Bretagne - Page 4 833270

Absolutely! It will be a schematic (like the London Underground) not a scale plan, so a hand drawing is fine!

You still haven't told us how many metres of track you've laid, I wait to be daunted!

Brian, fresh from some night time running!
