https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZn7L5vN0_s Geez, Paul. You spent all that money on your steamie and it won't melt ice itself? What's the point? BTW I'm wondering how much time was spent clearing the walkways for the missus? A balmy 11 degF in Waco Texas where I am at the moment, but fortunately, no ice.

| I haven't run the steamie today Bill. There's an hours daylight left, enough time for a couple of runs. | |

| I'm also looking for subject material or ideas for feature articles. Just a couple of paragraphs and a pic or two. We've done Corpets and railcars quite a lot and Stainzes too. (although you can never have enough.... ) BTW it's a balmy 2° here in the SUN | |

Great to see your pic of the LS Stainz adorning our CGT landing page! A pleasant surprise Brian. Our temp "shot" up to 7 degrees today, most of our snow has gone, but the circuit I cleared last weekend still has 50mm of snow on it that fell two nights ago. Snow from last weekend, here is U43..........

| Is your local patisserie selling soap? Otherwise, a quick paint job might be in order. I still think you should convert it into a camping car. | |

I still think you should convert it into a camping car. The van's new owner bought it cheap because Palmolive ordered too many....... Be a shame to paint it. The van is also available in bright orange with the "Orangina" logo on it.

| Ah - those frugal Austrians....
I just realized I learned something I had never noticed before- Palmolive = Palm + Olive, the two oils used to make the soap. Funny, it took seeing it in French to realize it.
I like your Palmolive van - the colors and logo suit it better than the Orangina version. I also like the Pompiers version I've seen on the net.
