Whilst in Leipzig last year, took a few tram pics in the area .....

Standard Tatra trams are still running about in Leipzig, but are apparently on borrowed time before the ever increasing modern boxes take over ...

A line of derelict Tatra's at Leutzsche Depot .... note that they haven't been modified to square headlights .... and wheel protectors are missing ....

Another Tatra formation, this time with three cars (maximum consist). The last vehicle is a "proper" Tatra trailer car which is now a rarity, most having modern box trailers in tow ....

Thanks for posting, Andy.
Its a shame how many servicable Tatra cars have or will be scrapped.
Ok , so theyre not low floor, but they represent where the PCC would have got
to eventually.

What does anyone (prob. Andy or Dave) know about these models in 1:22....?

http://www.herrmannundpartner.de/

The link to the 1:22 is not working.

There was a post on GSM but it got silly as usual to be worth replying to.

The Leipzig pics above show Tatra T3 trams .... I believe the new 1:22.5 scale trams from Hermann und Partner are models of the later, more angular Tatra T6(A2). Leipzig have some of these but I didn't take any photos of any of them .... they looked like coffins on wheels. In fact, an interim trailer car attached to some of the T3's give those particular T3's the nickname of "Coffin Draggers".
