Looking at Regner's website and he has some interesting new items for this year.

What caught my eye and wallet was this.

Regner Betty

A neat 030T for 945€.

With some modification it could look very French...or Spanish....or Catalan.

Very nice, shame it is not available in 700-750mm gauge.

I am amazed that Regner dont consider it worthwhile to provide alternative language navigation through their website. Cost would be tending towards zero and the benefits would include some sales.

They do make some locos (U class etc.) but still for 45mm gauge though. He just reduces the scale ratio!
There were a few 32mm gauge live steam models made:
A 32mm version of Hanna and a 32mm Mona (similar to Freda). Occasionally these appear secondhand but are rare.

He has been asked (at least twice by me) this by many people and although very occassionally he publishes details in English (and more rarely French too) as when Willi and Konrad were released, he seems very indifferent about it to the point of not caring.

He said once that he has enough business as it is without making more effort to attract more.

I even offered to get stuff translated - for a suitable discount but it fell on deaf ears.

By similarity Roundhouse and Pearse only market their products in English language although they make models of continental prototypes.

It onlys seems that Lorenz Schug (Accucraft.de) works in two languages.

If anyone does need multi-lingual help with Regner the best person I know is Pascal Lievre at

Atelier Vaporiste
He is fluent in English, French and German.
